"As a singer, one of the most valuable tools I can acquire is the ability to accompany myself. When I got the opportunity to learn the guitar through Jared's weekend course, I jumped right on it.
Initially, I was a bit nervous because I had never even picked up a guitar. However, my nervousness soon turned to excitement as I began learning about frets, body positioning, and how to play my first chord.
In the past, I have experienced frustration while learning from books. Many times the information wasn't clear, and although it says it is for a beginner, it is really written for a more advanced level.
